To sum up the new Intel based iMac
I am still raving to people about how much I love my new iMac, and how well I am protected against the majority of annoying garbage that Windows users must deal with in the form of Spyware, Viruses, Worms, and Trojan Horses on a daily basis. There is rarely a day that goes by that I do not have to help a Windows user at both Home, and Work, remove some kind of spyware or garbage from their system that is making it slow.
Now, Apple has released another update to the iMac, to include an Intel processor. Apple will eventually move all their models to Intel, but chose to start with the iMac, and their “PowerBook” laptop line. The new laptop has been renamed the MacBook Pro. Yes, I want one, and no I cannot have one. 🙁 I will get one someday, though.
For now, the best general review I have seen so far, is from the Wall Street Journal:

The only thing I disagree with, is the coining of the phrase “Gold Standard”. It should be replaced with platinum standard, since platinum trumps gold any day, and this PC is simply amazing. I actually look forward to working with it each night.
