Sony a hippocrite!

So, anyone who reads this knows my take on Sony; I don’t like them anymore. It started with the whole ‘rootkit’ shenanigan: http://garlockfamily.com/?p=202

Now, Sony is up to it again, this time they are at the other end of the copy protection routine; the pirates! Apparently Sony was busted for having unlicensed software on their computers, in some estimates up to 47% of their servers have pirated software! Ars has much more information on this latest “republican’esqe” move: http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20080331-sony-bmgs-hypocrisy-company-busted-for-using-warez.html

My take is still the same as before: BOYCOTT SONY!

Boycott Sony!

It looks like Sony is up to it’s old ways again, of trying to track what you do on your computer:

I don’t know why they keep trying to do this to customers. It is an invasion of privacy that they are even trying to do this. Other than my TV, I am pretty much Sony free.
